Michael is an accomplished, commercially focused senior human resource business partner and executive leader. He has a technical trade background and over 20 years human resource generalist and industry experience in both the public and private sectors. Michael has worked in health, emergency services, information management, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, technology, telecommunications, transport, tourism & hospitality, resort & marine operations.
He enjoys working collaboratively with his clients to solve business problems, build organisational capability and improve business performance. Michael has experience leading organisations through change and takes a structured approach using contemporary models and methods such as Prosci and People Centred Implementation.
He is passionate about organisational development and the employment experience. Learning, engagement, safety and inclusion programs Michael has designed have delivered outstanding results and been recognised through a number of national award and recognition programs. Professional development is very important to Michael. He maintains and enhances his professional practice through association memberships, networking and actively participating on Board’s and various Committees.
Michael is tertiary qualified with a Master’s in Business Administration.
