OEP – Organisational Effectiveness Profiling
OEP is a leading edge process for determining the most appropriate
organisational strategies and actions. Consisting of an advanced web-enabled
organisational diagnostic instrument, which examines the internal workings of
the organisation, incredibly powerful and insightful reports which reveal the
TRUE state-of-affairs within your business and action-oriented project
development workshops, this process enables organisations to focus on those
strategies which will deliver the greatest return.
The diagnostic component, known as OEP, has been developed in Australia by
Dr. Peter Crowfoot and Lanning Bennett, of the Centre for Organisational
Innovation, and uses Internet technology to speed up and simplify data
collection and analysis. OEP is designed to provide organisations with
information they can use to help improve their organisational effectiveness, and
hence increase their present and future success. The emphasis is on detecting
the barriers blocking increased group effectiveness, and presenting this
information clearly and explicitly. Focusing on the internal interactions of the
participant group, it is equally applicable to a whole-of-organisation analysis
as to a team development exercise.
OEP comprehensively examines the three major elements of Organisational
Effectiveness – Strategic Intent, Business Processes and Culture/Behaviour and
has been routinely described by our clients as "the most comprehensive, yet
simply presented" medium for delivering quantum improvements.
OPE has a number of specific advantages including:
- Genuinely engages the entire workforce in driving 'effectiveness
improvements'
- Heightens key differences between reporting levels, functional
departments, etc.
- Specifically points to under-performing areas
- Enables focus on improving areas where return will be the greatest
- Has a high level of participant confidentiality
Unlike many ‘touchy-feely’ climate surveys, it is a powerful state-of-the-art
process, which enables you, as business leader, to quickly identify the
underlying causes behind the issues you are facing.
